St Illtyds Walk 3 Sunday 1st December
It was a beautiful day on Sunday, a cold wind but fabulous clear skies and views - lots of planes with vapour trails high above us. The high point at Penlle'r Castell gave us the historic element of this walk and plenty of wind turbines were in action.
Seventeen of us enjoyed this 3rd stage, including 2 potential new members, and looking forward to the next one! Many thanks to Carwyn for ably leading the walk, and to Max for the super photos.

Cwmdu 1 Wednesday 9th October
On Wednesday 9th October Biddy led twenty Ramblers, including some first timers out from Cwmdu along country lanes and lowland pasture,
starting and finishing at the delightful historic yellow ochre stone washed cottages of the National Trust. We were blessed with fine weather, just one day in an otherwise wet and stormy month. By the end we had all worked up a healthy appetite which was pleasantly satisfied with cakes and scones prepared by Biddy, and served in the tea room at the cottages. This was complemented with a surprise birthday cake to celebrate the special day of one of our long standing members. Thank you Biddy.

Swanage Holiday 2019
Dinefwr Ramblers Holiday 2019 – Swanage, Dorset.
Sixteen members of our Group enjoyed an excellent break based in the seaside town of Swanage in Dorset. The weather was ideal for walking, the only rain occurred during the night. A programme of mixed walks over three days meant that there was a choice of walks to suit all abilities.
Angle, Pembs. 11th August
Our walk in Angle started on a good note, the local café had agreed to open early to accommodate our need for a coffee and other sustenance before setting off on our walk.
Llanegwad 27th July
Our group left the Community Hall at Pont ar Gothi heading out to the village at Llanegwad. The walk was easy and the light cloud buoyed our spirits. Walking in a wide loop we eventually crossed the A40 walked into the village.
