Llangadog to Llandovery
Two historic towns are joined by this lovely route through rolling Carmarthenshire farmland, woods and hills.
Seventeen of us left Llangadog by a narrow country lane for a couple of miles, running just above the winding river Tywi. Leaving the lane we climbed uphill through fields with superb views across to the Carmarthen Fans.
Stackpole 16th June 2019
The walk on Sunday 16th June 2019 was a circuit around the Stackpole estate, now owned and managed by the National Trust. We encountered several heavy showers during the journey to reach the car park at Bosherston, however by the time we started to walk we were graced with sunshine, blue skies, temperature in the mid-teens and very little wind. It remained that way for the next four hours or so. The eleven of us led by Robert Evans left Bosherston and headed directly for the coast where we were enchanted by a late medieval single cell chapel built into a rock cleft in the sea cliff.

The Sand and Wood Walk
- an intriguing title for our contribution to the Wales Coast Path Festival, attracting a lot of interest. It proved a fascinating mixture of history and super coastal views, thanks to careful planning and the help of Dyfed Archaeology Trust.

Thanks to Pembrokeshire National Park we were able to visit the military range again this year, on a walk led by experienced and very knowledgeable volunteer guides Peter and Vicky.
Rhandirmwyn - Sunday 3 February 2019
Ten of us enjoyed a super snowy walk up at Rhandirmwyn, climbing from the river Tywi up to the old lead mines and forestry.
